I'm starting to get the hang of this! The first colour scheme was the original painting and took me about 4-5 hours to render in Photoshop. Then I did some colour variations of the same scene in afternoon and evening. No reference was taken when I painted this, and I'd have to say it turned out much better than I expected it to!
Again, this assignment was to focus on different textures and brushes (you can see the rough texture of the sand, the smooth, flowing texture of the water and the spiky, bushy texture of the grass and trees.)
